Resolution
300 DPI at the exact size you want printed. A 20 cm wide design needs to be about 2362 pixels wide. Upscaled phone screenshots will look soft.
Artwork guide
Set your files up once, print them forever
Most reprints come from the same handful of file problems. Here is how to avoid all of them.
File formats
PNG or TIFF with a real alpha channel, or a flattened PDF. Never JPEG — it has no transparency and adds compression artefacts around edges.
Transparency
Anything white in your file prints as white ink. If you want the garment colour to show through, that area must be transparent, not white.
Colour
Supply artwork in sRGB. We convert to our calibrated DTF profile. Very neon RGB colours may shift slightly — that is a physical ink limit, not an error.
Sheet size
Sheets are 56 cm wide and up to 100 cm long per panel. Keep a 1 cm margin from the left and right edges.
Spacing
Leave at least 5 mm between designs. It makes cutting far easier and prevents film distortion during curing.
Thin lines and small text
Keep strokes above 1 mm and text above 5 mm cap height. Anything finer risks breaking up when the transfer is peeled.
Gradients to transparent
Fades that go fully transparent can print with visible dot patterns. A soft fade to a solid colour is more reliable.
